Christy’s passion for education began through her own struggles in school, inspiring her desire to help students gain confidence and succeed in learning. After earning her degree in Special Education from Baylor University and teaching in Bangkok, she discovered her passion for structured literacy and dyslexia intervention.

Christy has spent more than 15 years working with students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences as a Certified Academic Language Therapist. She is passionate about helping students build strong literacy skills, confidence, and independence.

Experienced with Alphabetic Phonics and a range of evidence-based programs, Christy adapts instruction to accommodate the needs of each student.

We believe it is important for students to recognize their strengths while developing the confidence and self-advocacy skills needed for success.
